Berlin, Germany – That time of year has come around again.

IFA, one of the world’s largest trade shows for consumer electronics and home appliances, is held in Germany every year.

Once again this year, we took part in this gathering of leading tech companies from around the world, each showcasing their own technologies and products.

Last year our booth was composed by a sophisticated design based on black and white, where we exhibited TVs, audio products, robots and more.

IFA, which began in 1924 and has more than 100 years of history, was held this year over five days from September 4 (Fri) to September 8 (Tue) (German time) at Messe Berlin.

As in the previous year, the booth was run in a closed format open to business partners and journalists. Parts of the booth used wooden elements for a warm, inviting design.

On display at this booth were our latest highlight products in the TV, audio and e-mobility fields.

TV Area

First, let me introduce the TV area.

This year we exhibited our new miniLED TV series together with models newly equipped with Titan OS. We displayed and demonstrated TiVo, Titan OS, Google TV and Roku platforms side by side so that visitors could see our lineup across a variety of TV operating systems.

TVs running a wide range of operating systems are sold around the world. That is why Sharp’s globally deployed lineup supports many different operating systems.

At the entrance to the TV area we exhibited a 137-inch dvLED display for B2B use, letting visitors experience its impact firsthand.

I’d love to have one at home myself!

Audio Area

Next, let me introduce the audio area.

In the audio area we unveiled the CP-DS10 4-in-1 Speaker Dock, a modern redesign of the classic speaker dock.

It brings together Qi2-certified magnetic wireless charging, smartwatch charging, USB-C charging, and Bluetooth stereo audio in a single unit. The smartwatch charging dongle is removable and can be used as an extra USB-C charging port. A charging port on the back also lets you charge accessories such as wireless earbuds. The speaker delivers up to 40 W of output, keeping desks and bedsides tidy while combining charging and entertainment.

The product won the “Best in Audio” category of the IFA Innovation Awards, and also received the “Messe-Innovation 2026 / Desktop Audio-Systeme” award from the German AV specialist media outlet AREA DVD.

I’d love to have one for my living room!

We also introduced new products launched in Japan: the conversational AI character “Poketomo”, the “Karada Mate Ring” smart ring, smartwatch “Karada Mate Watch”, all of which drew plenty of attention.

Finally, following last year, here are words from Kai Thielen, Marketing Director of Sharp Consumer Electronics Europe (SCE) and the person in charge of our IFA 2026 exhibit!

Last year’s black-and-white booth was chic and stylish, but personally I love this year’s booth, with its wooden elements and warm atmosphere.
