Sharp Indonesia & Sharp Greenerator Commemorating Earth Day Through Charity

On 23 April, PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia (SEID) and its youth environmental organization Sharp Greenerator, organised an educational & charity event at the Yatim Mandiri Bogor National Amir Zakat Association to mark Earth Day 2022. The event was attended by 30 orphanage children, four NGO representatives and 14 members of Sharp Greenerator. The Earth Day activities started with the planting of trees around the orphanage house.

Melani, a representative of a green NGO, and members of the ‘Sharp Greenerator’ led the children by example and explained the tree-planting procedure in detail. The session was followed by content about ‘Earth Day’, tree-planting activities and fun games.
The activity was opened by Mr Pandu Setio as SEID Representatives. Then the event was followed by indoors activity, such as donation from SEID to the Yatim Mandiri Bogor, Sharp Greenerator community introduction, Qur’an recitation and closed by children’s story-telling session. In context of Ramadan, Sharp Greenerator also prepare the breakfasting session with the orphanage kids. This charity event was successfully conducted, and appreciated by locals.
