PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia starts the 2021F fiscal year through achievement at the Indonesia Green Awards 2021. This year Sharp Indonesia received the best program category of biodiversity development through the ” Aksi Kolaborasi Kampanye Hijau Sharp Indonesia ” by collecting various plant seeds and also cultivating fauna in Mini Forest at the Sharp Karawang Factory. Over the past year, the Waste & General Network team has developed conservation forests into several functions, including as shade plants, indoor & outdoor ornamental plants, cultivation of vegetables and fruit.

The presence of Mini Forest in the Karawang Industrial Estate has a significant impact, from reducing emissions in the air by absorbing carbon dioxide emissions from factory operations, increasing soil fertility by creating an ecosystem, to providing a fresh feel as a result of oxygen produced by plants. Sharp Indonesia was able to be announced as winners by defeating competitors from well-known companies throughout Indonesia. La Tofi School of CSR as the host, responsible as the judge for all participant which conclude the winners based on the results of presentation of each participant.
