PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia’s (SEID) CSR program ‘Sharp Mapan’ helps farmers’ welfare by supporting operations and assistance to improve the quality of farmers and the quality of agricultural products. The planting season began on July 5, 2021, and the Sharp Mapan program has now entering the harvest season.

On September 28, carrying the healthy rice concept, planting process uses an eco-friendly methods (non-chemical) and uses high-yielding variety seeds that produce dense and highly nutritious rice grains. This program received a very good appreciation from the local government (Karawang) as SEID was considered able to see the potential of the Karawang area and greatly helped the lives of smallholders who had been included in the pre-prosperous community and improved their knowledge of the organic farming system.
