Sharp Electronics Malaysia (SEM) displayed smart solutions at FESTIVAL GURU MALAYSIA 2019, an event about education produced by Ministry of Education Malaysia in Penang from May 12nd to 16th. On May 16th, the last day of the event, Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohamad visited SEM booth.

Under the theme of smart solutions, and SEM displayed smart education, smart officen, and smart retail solutions. Also on the display were home appliance products suitable for educational institutions and offices, such as air purifiers.

During the event, SEM signed a MOU with EDUSPEC HOLDINGS BERHAD (EDUSPEC), a content and service provider for schools in Malaysia, aiming to create 21st century classrooms in the the country.

SEM Managing Director Mr. Robert Wu said, “The combination of smart solutions of Sharp composed by interactive whiteboards, and etc. and integrated education solutions of EDUSPEC will create a right synergy towards creating 21st century classrooms. We will work on a project to develop latest solutions with the Ministry of Education, and install them in over 100 classrooms.”
