Sharp Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (SEM) has launched the “SHARP Connectivity Tour 2026” in East Malaysia, in collaboration with its Official Strategic Partner, Ambang Angkasa Sdn. Bhd., together with Asia Business Solutions Center (ABS). The tour opened in Kuching, Sarawak on August 27, and continued in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah on September 3, 2026.

Across the two events, a total of 366 guests attended, including key decision-makers from the government, education, healthcare and hospitality sectors. Both events were officiated by ministers and attended by a number of government representatives — a strong signal of the trust SHARP has built in the region.

At the venues, visitors experienced first-hand how SHARP’s integrated technologies can create smarter, more connected and more efficient environments. Three key solution categories were newly launched, alongside the introduction of SHARP’s latest MFP to the market.

The first stop of the tour was officiated by YB Datuk Snowdan Lawan, Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts II (Creative Industry and Performing Arts), who joined SEM and Ambang Angkasa in opening the showcase.

The tour then moved to Sabah, where the event was officiated by YB Datuk Chong Chen Bin, Deputy Minister of Finance of Sabah, and YB Tuan Jordan Jude, Assistant Minister of Education, Science and Technology of Sabah. Guests explored how SHARP MFPs, Smart Air Care, Smart Hospitality and Smart Interactive Solutions can be combined to support businesses and communities across the state.

“We are proud to bring our technologies and integrated solutions closer to customers across East Malaysia, working together with our partners to create more connected and efficient environments,” the SEM team commented.
