Our Plasmacluster Drape Flow Dryer <IB-WX901/IB-SP54C^※1 was a finalist in the “Product Category”^※2 at the 2024 Design Intelligence Award hosted by the China Academy of Art, and won the Bronze Award after the final judging. Representing our company, Xia Wenjun, General Manager, Tang Jingwei, Deputy Division Manager of Product Planning Department, and Jiang Yiting, Senior Manager of Brand Marketing department, from Sharp Universal Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.(SUT) attended the award ceremony held at the Liangzhu Campus of the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province on December 6.

Plasmacluster Drape Flow Dryer <IB-WX901/IB-SP54C>:

This dryer quickly, easily, and beautifully dries hair for everyone from children to adults. To enable anyone to replicate the hair salon technique of quickly drying hair using two dryers, Sharp developed a unique four-point air outlet structure (Drape Flow X4). This achieves quick drying performance without relying on heat. By placing the motor in the handle, Sharp succeeded in creating a compact body and improving the balance, and by incorporating various modes, Sharp meet a wide range of user needs.

Design Intelligence Award (DIA):

Design Intelligence Award (DIA) is an international academic award hosted by the China Academy of Art, one of China’s leading art education and research universities. Established in October 2014 with the goal of creating an internationally renowned industrial design award, it has become the most globally influential comprehensive innovation design award in China. This year, there were over 8,000 entries from 47 countries, and 39 works selected by the judges were evaluated in the final judging presentation on December 5.
