Sharp Indonesia Supports Flood Victims in Karawang

PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia (SEID) made an emergency response CSR Program after flood hit Telukjambe, Karawang. The donation was aimed to Dusun Kampek & Karangligar as the most affacted area of disaster. SEID supported 150 staple food, free medical check-up and trauma healing.
The CSR program was held on 22 December 2021, and attended by the local government representatives such as Head of BPBD Karawang, Secretary of Telukjambe District, and Head of Karangligar Village, while SEID was represented by Mr Sagoro Eddy as HR Planning Manager.
After the handover ceremony SEID also sent the CS Education team to deliver the Trauma Healing materials.
The Trauma Healing materials are fun education activities for kids around shelter area, the program was initiated in order to entertain and make them happy after suffering a heavy loss, due to flood disaster.


The CSR program was held in order to increase the good image of Sharp Indonesia to people in Karawang. This act will be remember by them, and if the next time Sharp needs their support, they willlingly to volunteer and help the company. The program also aimed to maintain the good relations between the company and local government.
