Sharp held “SHARP Sync-Up 2024 ASEAN Regional Event”

The “SHARP Sync-Up 2024 ASEAN Regional Event” took place in Bangkok, Thailand from 17 to 18 July 2024. Sharp Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia collaborated to make the event a resounding success. Over 500 business partners and subsidiaries attended this exciting event, where Sharp showcased its latest products, innovations and solutions aimed at offering a “Simply Better Lifestyle” for all. These products were developed in response to the evolving lifestyle trends of modern consumers and businesses in ASEAN, emphasizing sustainability, innovation, convenience, and the need for a more personalized and family-oriented lifestyle.

Tomoki Tamura, BU Vice President-Global Business of Smart Appliances & Solution BU, General Manager of Global Kitchen Appliance Business Unit, set the tone for Sharp’s strategy.

In his speech, he emphasized Sharp’s commitment to create a healthy and sustainable living environment through its new line up of 2024 products. He also highlighted Sharp’s aim to strengthen its business in the ASEAN market with a range of innovative new products and solutions designed to curate a simply better lifestyle for consumers.

In line with its showcase theme of curating a “Simply Better Lifestyle”, Sharp addressed evolving consumer lifestyles by emphasizing convenience and the need for a more personalized and family-oriented lifestyle through its new innovative 2024 product line of consumer appliances and B2B products.

Sharp launches its new generation intelligent experience TVs with the AQUOS XLED GU8500 and AQUOS TRU GN7000 lineups.

Sharp’s Ractive Air SR-9 demonstrated its high suction power by lifting a 3kg bowling ball while remaining silent.

Sharp’s Cocoro Home AIoT Home Solution application connects and control home devices such as refrigerators, air conditioners, air purifiers, washers, and even Healsio Superheated Steam Oven.

To empower businesses in ASEAN, Sharp’s innovations in B2B solutions, including Smart Office, Smart Retail, Smart factory also took center stage at the showcase.

Sharp plans to expand the introduction of solar power systems to areas beyond Thailand and Vietnam to include the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia, contributing to carbon neutrality in line with the growing trends of ESG investments and SDGs.
