Sharp Indonesia Targeting Senior High School (SMAN 6 Palembang & SMAN 8 Banjarmasin) Students to Campaign Environmental Preservation
In a series event celebrating the 110th anniversary of Sharp Corporation, PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia (SEID) held recycling workshops in several cities targeting high schools.
Under the theme “From Love Comes Green”, SEID is collaborating with the Kertabumi Recycling Center to teach students and other invited guests how to recycle plastic waste into book covers, smartphone casing, wallets, etc.
Recycling workshops were held in seven major cities in Indonesia; namely Medan, Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Solo, Palembang and Banjarmasin.

In this article, we will introduce the workshops of Palembang and Banjarmasin.
SMAN 6 Palembang(Palembang 6th public high school)
Palembang is located in the southern part of Sumatra. It is the capital of South Sumatra province.

* To celebrate the 110th anniversary of Sharp Corporation, SEID held Sharp Eco-bition, an electronic product exhibition and CSR program setting forth the concept of environmental conservation as Sharp’s consideration for the environment and society. One of the goals of this program is to show Sharp’s commitment as a company that cares about the environment and achieves target of Sharp’s eco vision 2050.
