After 2 years of Building Evacuation and Fire Drill exercise were unable to be conducted due to Covid-19 Movement Restriction Order, this year, Sharp Manufacturing Corporation (M) Sdn. Bhd. (SMM) collaborated with Fire Department and Malaysian Government Hospital, to organize the exercise again on 30^th August, 2022 as to enhance employee awareness and know how during emergency situation.

SMM Managing Director, Mr. Won Yin Hock emphasize that, in the event of any emergency, which may result in a fire disaster, we need to act immediately and always be aware of safety measures including to save lives first and then property of the Company. This building evacuation exercise is important so that we are in a state of constant preparedness, prioritizing early emergency alertness and prompt action.

The Fire Department Chief Officer, Mr. Mohd. Aini Zaidi observed throughout the exercise. He commented that overall exercise is successful, level of emergency action is excellent and congratulate all SMM employee for their co-operation and effort to make this exercise a successful drill.

Building Evacuation and Fire Drill also very important requirement during auditing by the others related party.
