Sharp Manufacturing Vietnam Holds 2nd Anniversary of Opening

On Tuesday, August 16, 2022, Sharp Manufacturing Vietnam CO., LTD. (SMV), a manufacturing company in Binh Duong Province, Socialist Republic of Vietnam, held a ceremony the second anniversary of its opening. In addition to Mr. Okitsu, Executive  Vice President, 62 people attended the meeting, including Mr. Nguyen Minh Vu, Vice  Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Central Government of Vietnam, Mr. Đo Nhat Hoang, Director General of the Foreign Investment Management Department of the Central Government of Vietnam, Mr. Vo Van Minh, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Duong Province, and Mr. Watanabe, Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City, and many more.

At the ceremony held in the SMV, speeches were delivered by the dignitaries. Mr. Nobuhiro Watanabe congratulated the SMV on its second anniversary and expressed his wishes for the development of Sharp and SMV, as well as for the continued growth of the partnership between Japan and Binh Duong Province.

Mr. Đo Nhat Hoang thanked SMV for growing despite the impact of the new virus and contributing to the stability of people’s lives in Vietnam, and wished SMV further development and success.

After the speech, we held an opening celebration event, a factory tour, a product introduction at the SMV showroom, and a commemorative photo session.
