On September 15, Sharp Universal Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd.  (SUT) held a media conference in Yantai City under the theme of “originality, transformation and practice” to celebrate Sharp’s 108th anniversary and reveal new product lineups for autumn 2020.

Mr. Lin delivered his speech introducing Sharp’s 108 years’ history of sincerity and creativity, and also revealed Sharp’s global strategy. In recent years, Sharp has been plowing into the Chinese market and devoting itself to the research and development of equipment and technologies related to 8K Ecosystem, expansion of AIoT products and the establishment of COCORO platform. Following, Mr. Takayama delivered the opening speech for the 8K Ultra HD Industry Development Summit Forum session. Mr. Takayama emphasized that Sharp will continue to implement its business transformation strategies, by integrating 8K, AIoT and ICT products, devices and solutions for each targeted business field.

At the site of Sharp’s 108th anniversary celebration and 2020 autumn new product conference, a number of exhibition areas were set up, including TVs, home appliances, dynabook PCs, 8K Ecosystem solutions, and commercial display exhibition area etc. The collective appearance of products and solutions expressed  interpreting the conference theme of “Originality, Transformation and Practice” through abundant products and solutions, letting consumers feel the charm of Sharp’s smart life and the new realm brought to the industry by Sharp’s powerful production and research strength.

A total of 200 media from across the country were invited to attend the event in the form of online and offline. Over 300 media coverage centering online broadcasting and social media collected over 1.2 million viewers, representing the strong interest of the people of China toward this event.
