The Quality Promotion Division holds its own awards program, the Quality Awards, in conjunction with Quality Month in November, with the aim of increasing motivation for quality improvement efforts and sharing excellent efforts throughout the company.<\/p>\n

For the fourth Quality Awards in 2024, improvement initiative themes from each Business Unit (BU) in Japan were evaluated by individuals with intermediate QE and intermediate UE qualifications, along with a general vote open to all employees in Japan. This year, overseas production sites were also included, with nine sites submitting representative themes that were reviewed and selected locally. An awards ceremony for both domestic and overseas teams was held at the Sakai Plant on Monday, January 27th, and President Okitsu presented certificates to the representatives of the winning teams.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

During the awards ceremony, President Okitsu expressed his gratitude for the proactive quality improvement activities undertaken by each division. He emphasized that “quality” is the most crucial element in manufacturing and stated that efforts to stabilize quality should be continued actively in the future. Furthermore, he mentioned that for next year’s Quality Awards, a forum for interaction among the top winning teams will be established, and teams with significant contributions from overseas bases are being considered for invitation to Japan.<\/p>\n

Our company-wide quality department and BU-related departments will continue to work together to improve the quality of our products.<\/p>\n
