Under the clear blue sky, the ritual started at 10 am, where prayers were made for the company\u2019s prosperity and the employees\u2019 safety and peace, and it was solemnly and smoothly carried out.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.jp.sharp\/family\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/%E2%91%A1%E3%83%96%E3%83%A9%E3%83%B3%E3%83%87%E3%83%B3CFO-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Branden<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our company\u2019s \u201cKumataka Inari Shrine\u201d was established with a spirit division from Kyoto\u2019s Fushimi Inari Taisha in 1931, founded by Tokuji Hayakawa, a founder of Sharp with the wish for \u201cthe protection of employees and the prosperity of the company.\u201d Since then, we have performed a ritual on the same day every year at our main business locations.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.jp.sharp\/family\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/%E2%91%A2%E7%A5%9E%E4%BA%8B%E3%81%AE%E6%A7%98%E5%AD%90_%E4%BF%AE%E6%AD%A3%E6%B8%88-1024x706.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The scene of the ceremony<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"link1\">[1] In Japan, worshippers normally offer a branch of \u2018Sakaki\u2019(a species of evergreen tree) to the gods.
