*1 YGMB (Yayasan Guru Malaysia Berhad) is an NGO that works to raise the standard of teachers in Malaysia.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b>Sharp Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (SEM) and Yayasan Guru Malaysia Berhad (YGMB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support teachers across Malaysia in embracing digital classroom learning through its Smart Classroom Solution training programmes.<\/p>\n

The MoU was signed by Dato\u2019 Wan Munadi Wan Mamat, Chief Executive Officer of YGMB and Mr. Ting Yang Chung, Managing Director of SEM. This ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Yoshihiro Hashimoto, Senior Executive Managing Officer and Chairman of SEM and Tuan Haji Aminudin bin Adam, Chairman of YGMB. Puan Maznah Binti Abu Bakar, Director of Educational Resources and Technology Division, Ministry of Education also attended the ceremony.<\/p>\n

\u201cSharp Malaysia strives to leverage its advanced technology and continue to work with Yayasan Guru Malaysia Berhad (YGMB) to enable digital classroom learning for students and teachers nationwide. We are collaborating with YGMB to implement Smart Classroom Solution training programmes that aim to nurture and prepare national school teachers for a more enhanced teaching and learning process,\u201d said Mr. Ting Yang Chung, Managing Director of SEM.<\/p>\n

Hybrid classroom demonstration by Cikgu Zainudin Bin Abdul Razak (Recipent of Sharp Smart Classroom Solution)<\/em><\/p>\n

Sharp\u2019s Smart Classroom Solution enables interactive and better online teaching as well as hybrid learning among teachers and students. The training programme will guide teachers on how to use Sharp\u2019s interactive whiteboard\u00a0effectively when engaging with students. This will also empower teachers to adopt new digital classroom solutions at national schools.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe believe that we are able to elevate the standard of teaching by equipping teachers with the knowledge and training that will help them to embrace the 21st century classroom teaching \u2013 a seamless, innovative and resourceful teaching,\u201d Mr. Ting added.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the collaboration, the Chief Executive Officer of YGMB, Dato\u2019 Wan Munadi Wan Mamat said that YGMB believes the quality of teaching would be greatly enhanced through Sharp\u2019s training programmes as it helps cultivate digital teaching skills among teachers.<\/p>\n

Dato\u2019 Wan Munadi Wan Mamat added: \u201cSharp\u2019s support towards Malaysia\u2019s education system would make it possible for schools throughout the whole nation to be improved and at elevated standards. We look forward to more alliances to achieve transformation and support the education reform.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Yoshihiro Hashimoto said he sees a significant transformation needed in the education sector, and educators expect smart solutions to support online teaching and hybrid learning. \u201cIn these unprecedented times, the importance of digital transformation in the educational environment has become an urgent matter in most schools. By leveraging the latest technology and innovating smart solutions, students will be allowed to learn in different ways and widen their horizons beyond a traditional classroom.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe believe that it is our social responsibility to collaborate with educators to ensure our children remain in an effective learning environment while no child is left behind,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
