As of January 24, 2020, a total of 88,842 families \/ 346,244 persons were affected. There were 915 recorded Volcanic Earthquakes. 643 flights were cancelled, 383 local and 260 international due to volcanic ash from Taal Volcano. Power interruptions were experienced in 20 cities \/ municipalities and classes and work schedules were suspended. Cost of agriculture damage is Php3.2B or USD63M.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-19388\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.global.sharp\/were_sharp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/01-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-19389\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.global.sharp\/were_sharp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/02-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"350\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>SPC Head Office is located 81 kms and SPC Bi\u00f1an Warehouse 73.3 kms from Taal, and were not spared from the ash fall.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-19390\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.global.sharp\/were_sharp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/03-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"820\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.global.sharp\/were_sharp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/03-5.jpg 600w, https:\/\/blog.global.sharp\/were_sharp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/03-5-439x600.jpg 439w, https:\/\/blog.global.sharp\/were_sharp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/03-5-527x720.jpg 527w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>CSR ACTIVITY \u2013 January 23, 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the light of the Taal volcano eruption, SPC CSR team called for a donation among SPC employees in cash or in kind. Honorable Mayor Edralyn Joy A.
