On April 21st, Sharp Electronics Malaysia (SEM) held a CSR event, Sharp I Love Shah Alam Fun Run 2019<\/i>.

 <\/p>\n

This fun run event was conducted as one of CSR activities by SEM for the community of Shah Alam, where SEM office is located, and intended to support healthy of residents in the area. Runners gathered at SEM office and started running from 7:00 AM.

 <\/p>\n

In order to make the event fun and engaging, the event was filled with following programs.<\/p>\n

1) Dress-up:<\/b>  Runners were encouraged to dress-up as they like
\n2) Lucky-draw:<\/b>  Products and vouchers from SEM and partners of this event were given to lucky participants
\n3) Mist Gate:<\/b>  Gate emitted mist to cool down hot runners
\n4) Cold drinks:<\/b>  Free cold drinks kept in refrigerators were served to thirsty runners
\n5) Songs\/dances:<\/b>  SEM employees cheer up the event with songs and dances<\/p>\n

Cheerful runners dressed in unique styles added colors and joy to the event<\/p><\/div>\n

Runners were covered in mist by going through the Mist Gate<\/p><\/div>\n

Cold drinks served from refrigerators were delight to runners in need of energy<\/p><\/div>\n

SEM members cheer up the crowd with their songs.<\/p><\/div>\n

Dancers show the close ties among SEM members in atheletic way<\/p><\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

Government officials from Malaysia Investment Development Authority, Selangor State Development of Youth & Sports and Human Capital, and Selangor Police attended the event along with corporate partners.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Government officials and SEM executives (including CEO Mr. Robert Wu) joined the event<\/p><\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dedicated SEM members had been working hard on organizing this event, and some of them even started preparation on 4:00 AM on the event day, but their effort has paid off greatly as over 4,000 runners joined the event whereas the initial target number of runners was 3,000.<\/p>\n

Encouraged by the overwhelming response, SEM has begun planning another event for 2020. Let us look forward to a bigger and more fun-filled fun run event by SEM next year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
