Sharp Electronics Indonesia(SEID) has become an integral part of the lives of Indonesian families since its establishment in Indonesia in 1970. SEID has committed to serve wholeheartedly through the principle of “Omotenashi”, a Japanese philosophy that prioritizes sincere service and deep attention. Omotenashi is not only a guideline in business, but also the soul of every product and service that SEID provides to the people in Indonesia.

On March 5th 2025, SEID celebrated 55 years of its journey of innovation and the strong emotional connection between the Sharp brand and its loyal consumers. In order to celebrate 55 years of existence, SEID presents various activities such as the Omotenashi exhibition and Sharp Bersedekah.

The exhibition took place from 12 to 16 March 2025, entitled Omotenashi #DenganHati at Kota Kasablanka Mall in South Jakarta.

As part of SEID anniversary event, Sharp bersedekah was held on 14, 17 and 18 March at three locations in North Jakarta.

In this event, Sharp members cooked iftar food with people outside Sharp and distributed to those in need. This joint cooking activity was led by professional chef Muto.

All volunteers, and local officers, who participated in the event, were very enthusiastic. All the event participants seemed to enjoy themselves until the end. Additionally, while providing meals, SEID offered food and clothing assistance to the underpriviledged.
