On Tuesday, April 12, 2022, CEO and Vice Chairman Executive Officer Robert Wu held a media conference at the multi-purpose hall in Sakai headquarters.

  Mr. Robert and Mr. Takayama, Executive Managing Officer and Head of CEO Office, attended the media conference. First, Mr. Robert introduced himself and explained his management policy, with the Founder’s Spirit as immovable and will continued to be inherited.

  Next, he explained four key initiatives for ESG (Enrivonment, Social, Governance)-based management: 1) Enforce Healthcare Business, 2) Contribute to Carbon Neutral, 3) HITO Management, and 4) True global company. He also indicated to emphasize on Digital Health as a new core business in addition to the current focus of 8K and AIoT.  

In closing, he said, “My mission as CEO is to grow Sharp into a truly global company and a standing-out global brand. I will continue to take on challenges will full force to realize various reforms.
