Sharp (Taiwan) Electronics Corporation  (STE) has made daily news releases regarding new technologies and new products since September 1st, following the announcements from Japan. Even though there are products and solutions not yet available for the Taiwan market, the aim was to let Taiwanese consumers know the direction of Sharp’s creativity, sincerity, and dedication are headed to realize a better life in the ever-changing world of smart living.

For example, on September 7, the announcement of Plasmacluster technology demonstrating effectiveness in reducing airborne novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) made in Japan was connected to Taiwan as well, and was widely reported by the Taiwanese media.

STE also held an event on September 15 to celebrate Sharp’s 108th anniversary and to reveal its exhibition on Innovation and Technology with 8K+5G and AIoT.

The exhibition will be held from September 15 to January 31 at the first floor of where the STE office is located. The Exhibitions will be themed based on 8K+5G, AIoT, and Innovation. Visitors will make an appointment via STE website to experience Sharp’s latest technology and solutions on hand.

Chairman and CEO J.W.Tai spoke directly with the media to explain how Sharp aims to become a technology company that creates products and services of outstanding quality and provides solutions, and continues to expand its business in eight business areas of Industry, Security, Smart Office, Entertainment, Health, Automotive, Education, and Smart Home. By providing our customers with unique added value, and contributing to society together with our customers, STE aims to truly achieve “Realization” in Taiwan as well, which is the concrete realization of Sharp’s business vision.
