Sharp Indonesia Donates to Flood Victims in North Jakarta

The beginning of 2020 has already left us at Indonesia with an unfortunate event for most Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi residents and surroundings. Heavy rainfall has caused great flood and affected thousands of housings and dozens of victims. This saddening condition has triggered PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia (SEID) to help others in a CSR event called ‘Bakti Untuk Negeri’ – SEID social contribution for natural disasters in Indonesia.

 

The main focus of this program is to the 11,118 victims at Kapuk Muara, Penjaring, North Jakarta which is one of the closest areas to SEID Sales & Marketing Office. The donation hand over was conducted on 8 January 2020 and presented directly by Mr. Shinji Teraoka (President Director SEID) to Penjaringan resident in North Jakarta.

 

SEID donation included medical station, snacks and drawing equipment for over 200 children, and clothes from SEID employees. SEID team also took part in this donation by teaming up and delivering trauma healing session with interactive games for children and utilizing Sharp Mobile Service Station (SMSS) truck to provide free after sales service on their damaged SHARP products.

 

Though the event has ended, SEID will continue to expand the donation to other damaging areas, from Lebak (Banten) to Bogor.

 

Mr. Shinji Teraoka (President Director SEID) and Mr. Agus Soewadji handed over donation from SEID and SEID employees.

 

SEID employees across department also took part in this donation. They voluntarily held trauma healing session and after sales service station.

 

Medical station was opened for free for any Penjaringan residents.
