On August 7th, PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia (SEID) marked a new history with the launch of Sharp Mobile Display Truck (SMDT) in five cities, Jakarta, Surabaya, Samarinda, Makassar, and Palembang.

SMDT is a mobile truck designed exclusively to commemorate SEID’s 50 years operation, and contains Sharp products such as TVs, refrigerators, and washing machines, etc. in its body as a movable showroom. During its first period, five SMDTs will visit approximately 170 regions in CaraFUN Roadshow campaign from August to November 2019 to reach to customers, especially those in remote areas with limited opportunities to experience Sharp products.

The launch event was held in iconic places of the five cities for highlighting the uniqueness of each region: Ancol Beach Festival in Jakarta, Submarine Museum in Surabaya, Samarendah Park in Samarinda, Losari Beach in Makassar, and Kapitan Ampera Village in Palembang.
To accommodate invitees at each site, SEID management spread out, and the five conference sites were connected through live streaming. Invitees from dealers and media watched the launch of SMDT in front of them, while viewing the speech by Mr. Teraoka, president of SEID, in Jakarta in live.

In addition to SMDT launch, SEID announced a special lucky draw for every purchase of gold series products. Fifty customers who purchase these products will get a chance to win 5 grams of gold each. Winners will be drawn on SEID 50 years celebration in 2020.
