t.Studio, the first 4K/8K movie production studio in Taiwan,  was opened on July 11th in Taipei, Taiwan, and AQUOS 8K LCD TVs and 8K camcorders were installed in the studio.

t.Studio is a joint venture of two companies in Taiwan, Media Chain and TBC. Media Chain operates TV stations and produces TV programs, whereas TBC operates cable TV and broadband networks. t.Studio is designed as a studio where whole production process of 4K and 8K images from shooting to editing can be completed in one place. The two companies aim to increase the number of high resolution 4K and 8K contents through t.Studio viewing 8K TVs will increase in coming years.

Sharp installed AQUOS 8K LCD TVs, 8K camcorders, and AQUOS 4K LCD TVs in editing booths and shooting stuidos of tStudio. Also, 8K editing work stations which Foxconn Technology Group developed with Sharp, were installed as well.

An opening ceremony was held on the same day, and Mr. Lu Fang-Ming, Director of Foxconn Technology Group and TBC stated his intention of developing technologies for 8K contents production and broadcast as well as  establishing 8K Ecosystem in Taiwan.

Sharp has been working to build worldwide 8K Ecosystem through development and installation of 8K products and solutions, such as AQUOS 8K LCD TVs and 8K camcorders, and this installation represents another step for building 8K Ecosystem in the world.
