On June 13, Global TV Systems Group introduced AQUOS Sound Partner to our logistics partners at Sakai Headquarters. This was realized with the cooperation of Sharp Jusda Logistics.

This was not just an opportunity to introduce our products, but it was also set to learn the evaluation of logistics experts on their impression of this product, and utilize such voices for future product development.

Deputy General Manager Teraoka of Audio Business Unit, GTVS BU opened the event with a welcome speech along with appreciating the daily support of our partners. Following, Mr. Sato from Sales Promotion Division introduced the product features along with how the neck speaker market is developing.

Mr. Yoshihara from New Audio Development Division introduced how to connect the device to TVs and settings for hands-free telecommunication. By showing how the product can be useful even wearing a helmet, and explaining the product assists hearing without blocking the ear even under blatant environments such as in warehouses where facilities are operating, actual simulations  of using the product under logistics business scenes were demonstrated.

An attendee asked whether the product can be used for hands-free telecommunication while driving. Under the traffic rules in Japan, there is no clear description that the product violates the rules. However, from safety-first perspective, Sharp suggests our users to pull by and park the car when using the product in Japanese streets, as required when using mobile phones.

After the explanations, the attendees were very enthusiastic upon actually experiencing the products.
